We have two sizes to choose from depending on your storage requirements. Our 8×16 mobile container for example, fits furnishings of an entire family room as well as a mid-sized bedroom, including a queen-sized bed, a dresser, a TV and several small to medium-sized boxes. Our larger unit is 8×20. It fits the contents of a multi-bedroom house, including several oversized items like a couch, a refrigerator, a washer/dryer and a dining room set or several large boxes. Access into the units is at ground level through swing doors – so it’s easy to load up.
Mobile storage units allow you to take charge of the moving or storage process. You can load up a mobile container and have it relocated to your next address for unpacking or you can have the filled container moved to a Calloway Storage facility.
You don’t have to conduct your move on a tight schedule, like with traditional moving companies. You can arrange to have a mobile container delivered weeks or even months ahead of time and slowly fill the container. When ready, you call for a pick-up. Maybe your new home isn’t ready to move into – that’s okay! This often happens with new home builds. You can have the mobile unit stored at a secure Calloway Storage facility for as long as you need. Later, arrange to have the mobile container transferred over to your new address. Once again, you can take as long as you need to unpack the unit. When you’re finished – just called for a pick-up!
Another way mobile storage units help with moving is with de-cluttering and staging. To show your house in the best light, it’s recommended that personal belongings be carefully stowed away and rooms have the minimal furniture to show their purpose. A mobile unit gives you convenient and easy temporary storage.
